When the Covid pandemic began, our world, as the rest of the world’s life was turned upside down. R. had previously battled in public school with learning and diagnosed behavioral issues. We were terrified when public schools reopened for many reasons. It meant he would have to transition from a small elementary school to a junior high school with children from multiple neighborhoods combined. We were additionally concerned with Covid transmission with overcrowded classrooms, and our whole family is high risk. We began to seek out options and found a much better blessing than we could have ever hoped for at eLearning! He is into his third year at eLearning, and everyone that knows him, from former teachers, therapists, and doctors to friends and family, are AMAZED at R.’s total transformation and growth. He has not only learned more in the past three years, he has RETAINED what he has learned! This has been worth every minute, every mile driven!

My child attends school in this Learning Pod. We made the decision to enroll her in a Learning Pod because the traditional school system was not working for her. We never expected to be so pleased with the results this learning environment has produced for our child.… My daughter is a bright and intelligent young girl but struggles in a traditional learning environment. This Learning Pod has given us the opportunity to enroll her in an innovative learning system that fits her. We have seen leaps in her learning since she has started in the Learning Pod. The program she is in uses an online approach with a 1:6 teacher-to-student ratio in the learning center. The online approach allows her to move at her own pace within guidelines, and the 1:6 teacher-to-student ratio provides her with the guidance to stay on task and the attention she needs to progress forward.

C. told me about his whole day from beginning to end!!! He said today was so amazing and his best day of school in his entire school career!!! He absolutely loved it! I can not thank you all enough!!! I did let his coach know! And she was so kind. I was at a ladies’ prayer meeting, praying for C. and wanting to check in on him to see how he was doing. I looked down at my phone, and she had sent me the kindest text with a picture of him smiling and building a Lego social studies project. God knew this mama’s heart needed that at that moment.

My children, S.& J., attend school in this Learning Pod and have never been happier. This opportunity for my kids to learn in this environment has been such a blessing for our family.

My child is 14 years old and he is on the autism spectrum. He is in his fifth year in this school setting that has helped him to flourish. We have tried the public school setting for several years before finding this alternative.

I want to personally thank you from the bottom of my heart!! Thanks to you and eLearning for helping [my son] overcome a rough patch in his life. The years of not being able to play sports due to his injuries allowed him to work along side his brother as an electricians apprentice. Now that he has completed high school, he is planning on attending Nicholls in the fall for his electricians certification and HVAC training. We have been blessed with a wonderful staff and caring teachers!! We will miss you but know you will ALWAYS be remembered ❤💙

eLearningk12 has made a tremendous difference in the services we can provide to students in the Jefferson Parish Public School System’s Hospital/ Homebound (HH) program… Traditionally, they (HH students) are taught four core subjects, and receive four hours of instruction per week. eLearningk12 has provided the HH program with a way to provide additional core subjects and valuable instruction time on the days the HH sessions are not scheduled. Because of this, students are able to cover more course objectives than students who are not enrolled in eLearningk12.

I just wanted to let you know that I am sad to be leaving eLearning. It has been a wonderful year and a wonderful experience. H. has grown in so many different ways…most importantly, I think he has discovered happiness. That is the greatest gift of all!

Since we began working with eLearning my boys are so much better off! L. even got off all his meds …. He didn’t ”need” them anymore to be ”okay” .. He was just fine.. It’s about just what you said…. Positive encouraging environment!! We call it our glass bubble. Thanks for working so hard to bring us such a wonderful program … It’s provided a life changing, best ever, God given, blessing, to both the M. family and G. family in French Settlement!!! I wanted to thank everyone at eLearning with your help with my son’s education. He successfully completed the courses needed to get him back on track with our public school. He started back to school for his junior year thanks to the on-line courses that allowed him to keep up with his fellow classmates. If we find that public school is not working out for him we will certainly come back. This was a decision that we discussed as a family that included Brandon’s input and desires.

I have enjoyed working with the staff at the Houma location. One of H’s favorite people has been Penny Bishop. She is so sweet to all of the kids. Everyone at elearning is supportive, caring and helpful. Celeste Robichaux is awesome, Kristal Mergey was an outstanding teacher, and Penny Bishop were always so helpful and friendly. Each teacher that I came in contact was happy to be there and good with the kids. Thank you so much for everything. It has been a great year.

eLearning Academy has been a true blessing for our family. My daughter has systemic lupus and is unable to attend public school, and since I am disabled I cannot teacher her myself. Due to my disability, I was unable to afford the full fees for eLearning but they were able to assist me until I received my full disability. The teachers and administrators at eLearning are incredibly kind and accommodating, and are willing to help you with anything. They helped us through all the ups and downs and prioritized her well being. She can do schoolwork at her own pace, at her schedule, and on her time. I am so thankful that we found this school and that they made it possible for her to graduate high school – and on time with great grades. I would wholeheartedly recommend this school to anyone looking for a quality education.

eLearningk12 has changed our lives. When my son started there in elementary levels, he was physically and mentally stressed. Which you know as a parent, stresses you out. Not long after entering, he was no longer sick. He progressed so well that that he was able to catch up from when I held him back in the first grade and even graduated in March of 2010 (this is a year and half early). We are just so thankful that there is another way of learning out there rather than the traditional way. eLearningk12 has saved us. Thank you eLearningk12.

Dear eLearning Staff, I just wanted to thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you have done for Ben. I have seen so much growth in him during the last 2 years. He truly loves school and learning and is continually amazing me with all of the things he has learned. Our experience with {Louisiana} public school was not the best, but I feel truly blessed to have found this wonderful place for my son to learn & grow as a student, boy, and friend. Words are not enough to express how much I appreciate all of you. Thank you so much for everything.

I can’t express enough how Cody has enjoyed his first year of home school and eLearning. Thank you so much for all your dedication and hard work to provide such a service to our children.

Where do we start? Mollie went from being an honor roll student in the third grade to really struggling in the beginning of fourth grade. We thought it was due to it just being the beginning of the new school year and she just needed to get back in the groove. Unfortunately, we were so wrong!!! Mollie continued to struggle throughout the first half of school and never really improved. We would start the homework as soon as we got home and wouldn’t finish until 10 pm. There were quite a few times that we still weren’t through with homework. Even with the countless hours of studying every night her grades continued to fall. This was very disheartening to us because she is really smart. Even more so, it was hard on Mollie’s self esteem, because she knows she is smart. After taking a step back we realized a few things had changed from when we went to school. It is more about quantity instead of quality. She was getting overwhelmed and lost in the basics because of the demand of the curriculum and she was being left behind. This caused her to start to dislike school when just not long ago she enjoyed it.

We knew we had to do something for her & quickly. After reviewing the options of tutoring not sure what we were going to do, someone referred Mrs. Stacey’s eLearningk12 homeschooling center. After much prayer we felt it was the best decision for Mollie’s best interest. WHAT A GODSEND!!!! Not only is Mollie doing well but she is passing with A’s & B’s. The best part about it is she is enjoying school again. Mollie only goes to the Center three days a week & does classes at home the days she is not. Because it is done at her pace (with a slight push when needed) her self-confidence, self esteem, & self worth has increased dramatically. We are so thankful for Mrs. Stacey & her elite group for helping us put our daughter on the road to success, looking forward to see what is in store for their future.

So from the bottom of our hearts we just want to thank you & your team of dynamite teachers for most importantly teaching, investing, & contributing in our daughter’s future! GOD BLESS!

I have been a public school educator for 27 years. I’ve seen many programs come and go, tests go through trials and errors, students and parents were the only constant during my entire career. Students are bullied; peer pressured, teased, stressed, and can’t handle the work load or the case load. Parents are at their wits ends. They don’t know where to turn for help. Their child may have an emotional or social behavior disorder or a learning disability that prevents them from receiving the same quality education as their peers. Perhaps they are advanced and need to accelerate. I know because my children have been those children. We struggled with ADHD, Dyslexia, anxiety and Migraines. If only we would have had eLearningk12. I see the stress relieved from these families immediately when they enroll their children at my centers. They are so happy to finally see their child smile. eLearningk12 is here to stay. We personalize it to each student to make a difference in their lives.
